A set of tools which allow you to test and prove that your Internet Service Provider (ISP) is (or is not) ‘cheating’ your connections in any shape or form.

• Electronic Frontier Foundation – have a selection of links to tools to test your ISP and produce their own tool Switzerland.  The EFF also investigate all publicly-visible SSL certificates on the research project Observatory.
• International Computer Science Institute – created the Netalyzr which will completely ‘Debug your Internet’ with detailed results.  They also provide a short list of useful links.
• Max Planck Institute – developed Glasnost to test the traffic shaping profiles of your ISP for different types of on-line application data.
